Evan Dando

I went along to watch Evan Dando, vocalist of the Lemonheads play at 88 on Thursday evening… it was an extremely good show… nothing like a good unplugged gig… if you don’t have any of their music it really is worth giving a listen to… nuff of my rambling….

Hawa and I went down to the south coast of Durban last month… it was an awesomenessness trip and it was good to get away from the corporate world of banking… wasn’t really in the mood to take any photos but i took these two which i quite liked.

Counting Crows (pt.2)

The Counting Crows played an absolutely fantastic show at the Coca-Cola Dome(Johannesburg, South Africa)… I’ve been a huge fan for a while now and this was my third Crows concert and it was nothing short of awesomenessness…

Counting Crows !!!

My friends and I went to the Counting Crows show at the Coca-Cola Dome this Friday. They’re probably my favourite band of all time if you base it on actual time i spent listening to them(four hours day for a couple of years, back in the day that is…)

Anyway I Took a ton of photos and I still have a ton to process… so i am just going to post this one for the time being… will write more on the show later…

no shooting taking place

so i’ve been a bit lazy recently… haven’t  really shot anything and if i did attempt to shoot something it looked rather shabby… also i’ve been playing around with my new computer… that could have something to do with it… anyway i thought i should post something… these are two shots i quite like(from back in the day)…

the second one is from my last drakensberg trip and the first one is from housing complex of one of my friends, unfortunately the tree was cut down soon after this shot was taken…

I was supposed to sort my cd collection (alphabetically) but didn’t, anyway, i had this idea to take a photo of some of my cd’s… so this is that photo, not entirely happy with the result… the butterfly was from the Harris Tweed gig at the WITS theatre last year…

we went to newtown the other day… these are some of the shots which i liked… will hopefully post more… also listen to New Adventures in Hi_Fi by REM, it is a very good album…

we went to watch 5men 3missing and a few other bands play at Carfax in Newtown on Saturday, was trying out some stuff with my camera, didn’t really work… anyway there was this really awesome looking wall… also managed to get a half decent shot of Joao from 5men 3missing…

went to watch john wayne marina practice the other day, they’re an indie band… my friend alan plays drums in the band… was cool to listen to them practice…

anyway these are two shots of the guitarists…  the light was very difficult to work with so a lot of my photos were rubbishck…(smiley)

hey everyone, haven’t really been able to take any photos recently, been sick and of course there is that 8.30 to 5 thing which i have to do… anyway, so i thought i would post some older photos, the first two are from our trip to george and the last one was at the botanical gardens last year november, don’t really like taking photos of flowers, i guess it explains the last photo then..

Hi All,

Went to do laundry at the laundromat(is that how you spell it???) around the corner… anyway, i thought we’ve been having some really cool sunsets recently, but alas i would never have my camera with me and i was always driving back from work… so i finally had my camera with me and took these photos…
